About Laarman Wines
Laarman Wines released their first wines from the 2017 vintage. The release of the Focal Point was in the pipeline for more than 18 months.
The ethos behind the Focal Point range is to express the unique character of specific vineyard sites, showcasing the depth and variety of the Western Cape’s terroir.

The Cluster Series, Laarman’s maiden brand release, pays tribute to the spirit of collaboration that has defined and inspired him over his 20-year career in the South African wine industry.
The Cluster Series is my way of bringing together quality grapes, my winemaking skills, my family and my friends in the industry. Not only does a cluster represent a bunch of grapes, but it is a constant reminder that none of us can succeed on our own, in isolation. One grape alone can’t fill a bottle of wine!
As it is a freestanding brand which is not tied to a particular estate, this allows Laarman Wines to source grapes from a variety of regions, taking the strengths of each specifically chosen vineyard into account.
This creates freedom to be able to cherry-pick grapes from a range of unique wine-growing regions and terroir.
