South Africa’s lockdown has just been extended with two more weeks and parents are finding it increasingly difficult to not only keep their children busy but also to manage an increase in anxiety.
Now a group of Moms have decided to launch a social media campaign to keep a flame of hope alive. We encourage all our readers to share and participate in this great idea. From the Hello Mr. President SA Facebook Page:
Dear Moms, Mammas, Gogos, Oumas. We know that right now you are experiencing many challenges. We encourage you to know that this too shall pass.
Let’s keep our flame of hope alive by writing a letter to our President, Mr Cyril Ramaphosa. You can share anything close to your heart. Even if it is just to thank him for being such an exceptional leader during this difficult time for our country. Or maybe you have a question. Or a word of hope.
Go for it!
What to do:
Email… send your letter via email to womenofhope2020@gmail.com
Appeal to create #HelloMrPresidentSA
The Moms have decided to use the Hashtag #HelloMrPresidentSA and we encourage everyone to share these posts on all your social media with these tags. We salute the Superhero Moms who took this initiative and will be sharing it on all our pages.
Our kids need our love, support and hope now, more than ever.
Join the Hello Mr. President SA initiative on Facebook – we would love to hear your comments, input and of course the letters from all our children. Here is that page again: – https://www.facebook.com/Hello-MrPresident-SA-100355478315222
Thanks Mr. President!
