The Murals’ unveiling will take place on 3rd December 2020
Cape Town, Western Cape: The #SaveSAWine + Robinson & Sinclair Mural Project announces a new partnership with the WWF-SA Conservation Champion Initiative. This project is the brainchild of Sarah Krone of Robinson & Sinclair, wanting to keep up the momentum created by the fantastic feedback of the #60in60 campaign created by Erica Taylor of Uncorkified. The #SaveSAWine movement creates much-needed buzz around the South African Wine Industry after a damaging prohibition.
The WWF Conservation Champion initiative is very excited to be part of the #SaveSAWine initiative and the artist mural project. It is wonderful to support a creative campaign that shares such a positive and uniquely South African message in these challenging times. Our role as individuals and organisations is particularly important in the Cape Floral Kingdom’s biodiversity hotspot, where 95% of South African wine is produced. We all have a role to play, from producer to consumer, in ensuring that farming is done in balance with nature.”
We have all joined forces to work with Baz-Art and take over the corner building of 192 Loop St in Cape Town and launch a mural to continue promoting the #SaveSAWine movement. We will debut the final artwork on the First Thursday in December with a socially distanced wine street festival to kick off summer.
There are still several opportunities to be a part of the mural project and the #SaveSAWine campaign. Please contact us for more information.
