Agritourism is a growing international phenomenon and where Tourism meets Agriculture.
Agricultural activities such as milking cows at the dairy, shearing wool, harvesting crops, culling herds, using agricultural implements, tasting and buying farm produce are some of the activities offered.
The farm’s resources can be used for game viewing, birding, biking, hiking, fishing, camping, events and farm stays. The additional revenue stream is certainly a win for farmers and rural communities, while tourists get to experience farm life and the outdoors.
