About Siwela Sweetness Masoga
Siwela Sweetness Masoga is passionate about wine, a fermentation biotechnologist, entrepreneur and winemaker. Siwela has a vast experience within the wine industry and aims to inspire young South Africans to become active role players in the wine industry.

Siwela is an indigenous African name which means crossing over – Siwela is not just a bottle of wine but a symbol of transformation within the South African wine industry.

The Siwela wine range
The range of premium quality wines are produced to encourage wine enthusiasts and to embrace the beautifully rooted African culture, Heritage and originality through each sip of Siwela wine of choice.
Our grapes are grown and harvested in Vrede, Sonop, Geluksoord and Koelenbosch in Stellenbosch a wine region famous for its quality grapes. It is the granite and sandy stone soil with high clay content which gives the soil a high retention capacity together with the cooling South Easterly breezes that wash through the afternoons, refreshing the grapes after the morning’s hot sun and ultimately producing premium quality grapes for our wines.
Our grapes have been hand harvested in the early hours of the morning to preserve the quality of our grapes. Our wines are handcrafted with love and patience and you will experience the warmth and our sense of passion for wine through each sip of Siwela. Each cultivar was carefully chosen based on its dominating flavor character.
